U15 Team - Spring 2022 Maryland State Champions

Our High School and JV Tackle Rugby Program is for boys any size and skill level. NO experience necessary. All teams are coached by former players with years of experience.  Players from all area schools are welcome.  Come give rugby a try!  

The high school and JV boys spring season runs mid-January through May.  Practice is at the Westminster City Park on Tuesdays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM and in the Shipley Building at the AG Center in Westminster on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.  Please keep an eye on the weather and look for an email from the MS and HS boy's coordinator if outdoor practice needs to be moved from the Westminster City Park on Tuesdays to the Ag Center.  After March 15th practices move outside to either Springdale Prep or Bark Hill Park.  Feel free to forward this message to anyone.

Celebrating 28 years, the New Windsor Marauder’s Program began in 1995. The program’s founders were retired and current adult rugby players who felt a youth program would benefit the youth of Carroll County. The Marauders Rugby Club is sponsored by the West Carroll Recreation Council and the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks. The Club is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Union, under the direction of and governed by a division of USA Rugby.

Rugby Sevens debuted as an Olympic sport at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) voted to include the sport at the IOC Congress on October 9, 2009.
